About Us |

The Council’s Head Start program provides diverse services to meet the educational, health, parent, community, and social service needs of our children and families. We serve children between the ages of three and four, along with their families, all of whom are either at or below the federal poverty guidelines.
The Head Start Program operates classrooms at our sites throughout Boone, Clay, Jackson, Wood, and Roane counties in West Virginia. Additionally we operate classrooms through collaborations with the Boone, Clay, Putnam, Jackson, Roane, Wood, Calhoun, Doddridge, Pleasants, Tyler and Wirt County Boards of Education. Twenty Collaborative classrooms are located at both our sites and in classrooms located at BOE sites.
We are proud of our dedicated and experienced staff and the manner of our service delivery.
